  First Day of school!
Today is the first day of school for Austin and Kaydan. Austin is now in the second grade and Kaydan is attending Anthony Wayne Pre-School. He is going there to work on Speech Therapy.

They weren't real eager about going to school today. Kaydan didn't want to get dressed. He had a dry pull-up on and I tried to get him to go potty before school but he wouldn't go. so He finally got dressed and we went outside and he rode his tricycle while waiting for the bus. A few minutes outside he kept saying "Mommy ooky, Mommy ooky." I looked and he had something trickling down his leg. I said "Kaydan did you go potty?" "Yep, mommy." So I ran back in the house to get dry pants for him. But the good new is that it just went down his legs and his shorts were actually dry. HMMMMM!

When the bus pulled up Kaydan walked up to the bus and turned right back around. He wasn't having any part of that. LOL! i had to literally pick him up and lift him on the bus. The bus driver and the helper actually talked to him and he got a new stuffed animal and book. I wanted to get on the bus and be with him but that would make matters worse. My big boy did NOT cry that i could see.

Now Austin: I had planned on taking him to school so I could help him take his snacks into the nurses station. His backpack was really full and heavy. Well he asks "What car are you driving?' Are you driving Thoms car?" (We have Thom's car here until he gets back from basic training and its a sporty black BMW) I said "No I am driving the van." He goes "I will just ride with dad then." (hubby drives Thoms car) LOL! So hubby took him to school and took his snacks into the nurses station for him. I guess Mom wasn't needed today afterall.

Here are a few back to school pictures of the boys:
