Yesterday I was tired... I was picking up the slack for everyone around here. After my afternoon treatment hubby said that I needed to get out of the house so that my mom and sister could get ready for the 4th of July dinner. I really just wanted to stay home and rest.

We started out at a bookstore. I got so tired that I sat down in the kids department and wanted to cry I was so tired. Hubby wanted to drag me to two other stores. I stayed in the car and rested for a little bit. I begged hubby to take me home so that I could rest.

Instead of going home he drove me to the park. There was his parents, my parents, sister and a bunch of our friends. I had to pull it together and find the strength for the party. I did the party in a daze.. exhausted daze.

No one suggested that I save up my spoons for later in the day.

I got up this morning.... the kitchen was trashed. I had to clean it up so that I could make myself breakfast. So frustrated.

Today I am so tired that I am in bed. I don't have enough energy to shower or anything else.

I got lots of cards, a few gifts and about $50-100 in donations for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Now I am hoping I can pull it together for the rest of the week.

Yes, I guess that is a surprise. I'm sorry your family doesn't really "get it". I hope you are able to celebrate your birthday your own way.
