Hey guys,

I had clinic yesterday + GI dr.. GI dr. was first, uptown Manhattan.. Visit went well, we talked more than anything lol Dr. G. added a muscle relaxer to help w/ the reflux, it is supposed to help the esophagus constrict or not , not sure which lol The only side effect is sleepiness which I really dont need to feel more of but will give it a go..

I came out of Dr. G's office & there was a downpour.. I had to get a cab to go to the clinic downtown.. It took me awhile so I got soaked isgust; I froze in the cab due to the a/c , asked the driver to shut off the a/c in the back. That helped a little..

Got to clinic & Donna, bless her heart got me a heater to dry off. I stood in front of it & held my flip flops in front of it to dry them too. Clinic went well. We didnt do a pft due to me having some streaking on the weekend & they didnt want to rock that boat I already brought sputum from the morning treatments. I find that so much easier to do than trying to get one at clinic time ..

After Pulmo I went down the hall to the Dr. R. the hematologist.. Talked to him about the change we made in blood thinner shots. He gave me a scrip for some blood work to see if my levels are ok..

Well thats about it.. I'd say all in all it went ok, cept for the soaking that is lol ..

An umbrella wouldn't have helped the flip-flops lol. Anyway good you had a good visit but with all the heat and humidity who would think the cab could be so cold. I hope the chill passed without sequella.
We had all day rain and downpours all day today, (unpredicted - it was predicted for yesterday) go figure using the weather channel to make plans.

Ironically I was at the CF clinic stuck in the same downpour! So weeeird! I'm stuck on another round of iv's but I'll be posting on the board b/c I need opinions.
